What should I know about PRALUENT® (alirocumab)?

  • When added to the highest tolerated statin dose, PRALUENT has been shown to be safe and effective in patients with atherosclerotic heart problems or heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (an inherited condition that causes high levels of bad cholesterol), who need additional lowering of bad cholesterol
  • No typical drug-drug interactions of PRALUENT have been seen with other drugs, however, please tell your healthcare provider or pharmacist about any prescription and over-the-counter medicines you are taking or plan to take, including natural or herbal remedies
